Given the ongoing global conflicts, the importance of Operational Technology (OT) security was a central theme at the conference. Keeping critical infrastructure and sensitive systems secure is increasingly essential, especially when considering the resilience required for facilities such as nuclear plants. Protecting these systems is vital to maintaining stability in uncertain times.

With new regulations like NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act on the horizon, compliance work will keep organizations occupied in the coming years, and the  While the process may be demanding, the intention is to strengthen security across the EU, aiming to benefit both residents and businesses. 

🤖 AI in Cybersecurity: Hype vs. Reality
While AI in cybersecurity holds potential, it’s important to distinguish genuine advancements from the hype. A highlight was Kris Oostheok talk on balancing the AI conversation, showing some practical use cases alongside examples where hype outweighs substance.
