Talos 1.8 is here! 🚀
Today we celebrate the newest release of Talos Linux!
Talos Linux is Linux reimagined for the kubernetes world. It is designed from the ground up with a microservice architecture in mind.
Talos Linux is managed by API, making operations easily automated, scalable, and simple.
It uses declarative configuration via a YAML file that fully defines the machine configuration, ensuring no configuration drift and making it GitOps ready.
Deployments are fast, allowing you to create, upgrade, or redeploy an entire cluster in minutes.
It operates without SSH. Without patching, package manager and configuration management tools, the risk of errors is significantly reduced.
We share Talos values of simplicity and security. That is why we are especially happy to see that they are providing support for AppArmor with their latest release, 1.8. With AppArmor on Talos, you can provide tailored runtime security for all the applications running on top of Talos. Great work, Sidero Labs and the community! 🎉
